Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. An excellent well thought out bistro that clearly has a great chef. Lovely atmosphere. felt a little bit like The Ivy (the real one). Intimate as there are probably around 40 covers in the restaurant. definitely worth a visit. Some will use it for special occasions, others for nice regular eating out and company. As a business owner I would recommend taking clients there for discreet lunches etc. Hopefully it can replicate its former glory when it was Brunswick House, which was a center for good food and good company. Good quality hotel restaurant. There was a good choice abd the food was surprisingly tasty. I would definitely eat here again. The only downside was that it was so chilly (altho that might just be me!)
