Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.     Wonderful meal with my mum, fantastic choices on the set menu. Lovely to see the place full even if it did make it quite loud. The ladies who looked after us were wonderful and I’m sorry I didn’t get their names. Always my favourite place for a treat and already looking forward to coming back soon. X

    Fantastic. Took a seat at the bar for a solo night meal as was in town for work. The Christmas burger was sublime and wine, beer and dessert wine! Service was excellent - friendly and chatty when I wanted and when I was cradling my beer and reading my book, they left me alone. Chips were amazing.

    A great lunch for 6 of us at a capacious table near the kitchen area (as requested). The menu is extensive, plus there was a festive option. Service was prompt and courteous. One of our go-to places when meeting in Manchester. Sometimes we meet there just for cocktails or out door coffee in the summer

    We had a great experience for our anniversary yesterday. We had the premium bottomless brunch. The food was amazing and we had so much of it. The drinks were great and came so quickly. The service was super slick and really friendly. And they were playing great music and people were up and dancing. It was the best bottomless brunch I’ve been to in Manchester and definitely worth paying a little bit extra for!
