Restaurants near Quaboag Valley Golf Course

I was traveling to see my kids for Thanksgiving and came here for the Thanksgiving buffet. The owner greeted me with a smile, handshake and a hug. The waitress was very attentive and the buffet was good. Everyone was very friendly.

After eating at the Publick House for many, many years we were surprised to hear a substitution on a meal can no longer be made.. For example: you cannot substitute Green Bean for Squash without being charged $2.00. You must now take the meal as listed on the menu, otherwise there is an Extra Charge. Very disappointed to hear this from a really special restaurant. This makes it sound like the meals are prepared ahead of time and just reheated when ordered. Hopefully they will change this policy. The service was outstanding, the meal would have better with Green Beans instead of the Squash!!!!!

Everything we tried was outstanding! Highly recommend the sampler. I wish we weren’t several states away or we’d be regulars!

Food very good except appetizer brussel sprouts overcooked. All other good delicious.

We celebrated our anniversary there last night and it was phenomenal. The food was outstanding. Our server was fantastic. I cannot say enough about how great our experience was last night.
