    My husband and I chose to take a road trip to Lynchburg to end our holiday break and he asked me to find a nice restaurant in town for our Saturday dining. I was definitely looking for a steakhouse and Shoemakers fit the bill. The restaurant is beautiful with an inviting atmosphere. Great cocktail list and some excellent wines to choose from as well. Waitress was pleasant and knowledgeable. I chose the ribeye on her recommendation which I could taste the char and fantastic grilled flavor it was just more medium than medium rare. Dessert was a derby pie that reminded me of my mother’s. We really had a lovely evening and would come back again.

    2nd Christmas Eve with great experience! Cruise ship quality team there! Only little thing I could add for Christmas would be a tree 🎄 and small festive table decor
