In 2007 they founded Canal House, which includes a publishing venture and a culinary, photography, and design studio. Their cookbook "Canal House Cooks Every Day" received a James Beard Award in 2012. In 2019, Christopher and Melissa opened Canal House Station, a hidden gem tucked into an elegantly restored 1870s train station on the banks of the Delaware River in Milford, NJ. A lovely dinner once again for our group. The steaks were popular this time. We had three different steak dinners and a wonderful Caesar salad. The desserts are always fun and delicious. Excellent service without being annoying.

Outstanding and fun! 4 of us attended Friday Spaghetti night with "local's" along with joined tables, beautiful warm environment, perfect service and the home made pasta bolognese with a crisp salad, just right garlic bread and homemade Tiramisu ice cream was just what we needed on a cold December evening. Can't wait to return!
