Thank you so much for being open for Christmas lunch! The atmosphere was great and the views were phenomenal. Drink menu was solid as well.

My family and I just can’t imagine a Hawaii vacation without a night at Hy’s. Hy’s sets the bar for Service and they set it high. The all-wood interior maintains a high level of class and decor that may mimicked by other steakhouses, but cannot be copied. It’s because Hy’s has amazing, perfectly prepared steaks, great people, and a style all its own.

This is one of our go to restaurants in HNL. We have been going here since it opened and as well to its predecessor at the Modern. While the food is exquisite (sticky ribs are the best you will ever have), we have determined that the real reason we keep coming back is the staff. This year, they confirmed that beyond our expectations. Bryan was our server and he was fantastic, enthusiastic and friendly. The manager, Vinnie, came over to our table and a good visit turned into something truly memorable! Thank you Vinnie! We look forward to continuing to come back; for the food but more importantly, the amazing/great/welcoming staff!

Very relaxing Christmas Eve dinner at the Deck overlooking Diamond Head. The food was very good and excellent service. Casual and comfortable dining. Will go back again.

The entire experience was wonderful, starting with a very warm and welcoming Hostess who checked us in for our reservation and explained some of the menu to us. After being seated, we were readily greeted by our server, who was very personable and attentive to our questions and needs throughout the dinner service. He patiently explained the differences in our wine choices, suggested various dishes, and explained some of the local sourcing for our dishes, which we really appreciated. Our appetizer and dinner dishes were delicious, fresh, and hot! There was a nice pacing between our appetizer and dinner and we savored every morsel. And our server made sure our water glasses were filled and asked how our meals were throughout. We will definitely come back!
