Restaurants near Salton Sea Beach Marina

Our party of four dined outside and had a wonderful Christmas dinner! Service was excellent, ambiance was lovely, and food was delicious, although it seemed a little overpriced for Mexican food. However, it is the historic La Quinta resort, so highly recommended for a special occasion!

We went for dinner on Christmas Eve; full menu! It was phenomenal! From the moment we arrived, the hostess was welcoming, our table for 5 was ready within 5 minutes (with the accommodation I requested), and our server was attentive and personable! Our food was really yummy…it’s been a long time since I’ve been there and everything was delicious. Two thumbs up for the lamb chops and their Local Salad is fantastic! Everyone enjoyed their meal; short rib, salmon, lobster tail, and fettuccini. Honestly, it was all wonderful and they brought out an Ice Cream Wedge for our birthday celebrant. A great evening!!

The food here is consistently outstanding. We love the tempura green beans and bacon wrapped dates as appetizers. This time we tried the short rib gnocchi and the potato crusted petrale sole. Both were delicious! The heirloom tomato salad was amazing. My husband has a hard time passing up the meatloaf. Of course, the coconut cream pie for dessert is a must.

Lavender's patio is the place to dine in La Quinta, CA. The atmosphere is so special, with live music and ample heating. The menu is creative and delicious and the service attentive. Highly recommended.

FUN ATMOSPHERE. LIVE ENTERTAINMENT. FOOD QUITE GOOD. SERVERS WERE NICE. TABLE SETTINGS LACKED BASIC ITEMS, NAPKINS, FORKS. COOK FORGOT SALAD DRESSINGS. ALL MINOR AND CORRECTED QUICKLY. WILL GO AGAIN.
