Food was great, though I feel like some of the specials descriptions should be followed by the cost. I’ve eaten at a number of high end restaurants where they did this. So that a $120 wagyu appetizer doesn’t come as a surprise. It honestly was worth about $25 if I was blinded of what it was. For reference, a very delicious rib eye at 22 oz was $79. The appetizer was about 1-2 oz. Service and was great tho and everyone was very attentive. Get a martini- they leave the jigger so you get very good value there and very tasty.

We had a wonderful evening. We were seated at our window table just in time to see the sunset! For an old couple from Colorado this was a very beautiful thing. Our server, Cheri was delightful and was never intrusive but always attentive. The food was excellent and well prepared. Overall a great evening.

We moved to the area about a year ago and, especially over the summer, we have eaten here fairly often. It's consistently excellent: good food, good service, and not too expensive (though certainly not cheap). Last night, we dined early. Being winter (or what passes for it, in SoCal), it was getting dark outside. And that brings me to the point: the lights inside the restaurant are so dim that it weas very difficult to read the menus. We were not the only ones - many people used their phones (or the candles on the table) so help them. And one of the pleasures of eating in a good restaurant is visual: the decor, how the food is plated, and the food's quality. It was far too dark to appreciate any of those things. We hadn't experienced this before, before it was always bright daylight when we ate. So, to the management - PLEASE increase the lighting a shade (pun intended) when it's dark outside.
