- DDuncanInverness / Scottish Highlands •2 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoGreat food. Service lets it down though. Plenty staff but none offered us another drink and our empty plates were left on table for over half an hour after we finished eating. Restaurant was busy, but not that busy! Could easily be improved with better staff training.More infoCoyote BurgerPrice: Moderate• Burgers• Inverness•4.3
- TTheresaGlasgow/Lanarkshire •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had a great evening at the white house. We could only get booked for food at the bar and were unsure what to expect but the high table and bar stools were perfectly fine (lovely, in fact) and we weren’t so close to the bar that we had lots of folk around us. The area we were sat was surprisingly private even tho we were close to the bar area. Staff were polite, friendly and attentive and the food (Xmas menu) was great. We enjoyed it so much we stayed on and had some shots and cocktails. We were not rushed along by the staff- I would definitely recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for great food in a gorgeous setting with excellent staff.More infoThe White HousePrice: Moderate• Scottish• Inverness•4.5
- KKatriEdinburgh/Midlothian •3 reviews4.0Dined on 29 Nov 2024Warm welcome followed by professional and kind service. We were celebrating a birthday and there was wee "happy birthday" sign on table rather than reserved. I thought it was nice wee gesture. The bottle of prosecco Santi Nello was lovely, we also had port wine Cockburn's Fine Ruby with the dessert and that was nice as well. The port worked well with the soft and well balanced chocolate tart. The tart was not too sweet, and the portion size just right. For starter we had the scallops, and they were made to perfection. For main we had the smoked haddock, again well balance flavours, though the smoky flavour was very strong, so you defenetly have to like smoked. Presentation on all the foods were well thought off and bonnie. Personally I loved the use of edible flowers. We had a lovely time at the Shores Plockton and would defenetly come back. Highly recommend. Thank you again to the whole staff.More infoThe Shores PlocktonPrice: Very Expensive• Scottish• Plockton•4.6
