Restaurants near Sheraton Austin Hotel at the Capitol

First time: Made reservations about two months in advance— the place was packed! Everyone was either celebrating something or spending time with loved ones. A great atmosphere! The food was outstanding, a great selection of wines and liquors at the bar. Service was faster than expected, especially considering how busy the place was. Reasonable prices all-around and excellent experience from the staff and the atmosphere.

Everything lived up to the recommendations I heard that sent me to the restaurant. The environment, the food… it was all great.

Omg! It was such a good meal. We were excited to try the Jewish Christmas menu and it was well executed. We started with the latkes and brisket egg roll. Both were flavorful and well done. We ordered the matzo ball egg drop soup and it was a hit. For the main entrees we had the pastrami fried rice and the general tso chicken. We were so happy we did this. The holiday drinks also hit the spot. :). Please bring this menu back next year!!!!

Always a great experience! A few new items on the menu, the Sweet Potato is a HIT!! Awesome. Family in for Christmas, a must we told them and you hit the mark. See you again in a few weeks.

This place totally oozes Miami Vice, seasons 4 & 5. The staff was friendly and very Lorenz & Lorenz (on top of it). The soundtrack was PoolSuite-ish – in a good way. Our ad-libbed mocktails hit the spot, and the pizza was way better than it could have been for a place so focused on v.i.b.e.s. That kale salad was really good and deceptively generous – enough to share then take home extra (but we're old, so factor that in). The menu prices seemed a tad bloaty, but to be honest, the bill came in lower than expected. All in all, thumbs up. Come for the instagrammables; stay for the super sweet staff and good grub.
