Restaurants near Simsbury Park

Happened upon the outside posted menu of the restaurant while visiting the German Village and was intrigued. Got a same day reservation. The experience was no less than brilliant. The ambiance expertly crafted. The staff exquisitely attentive and as a cook myself, the food was jealously fantastic. Hope I can visit Cento again soon!

The ambience, service, and food were all great! While it’s on the pricey side, you’re getting what you pay for, so save it for a special occasion and have a great time! We came for my husbands birthday and they even read my and satisfied my special seating notes…and they didn’t make me tell them it was his birthday (they actually read the note unlike some places I’ve been to).

I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the staff. You truly made my fiancée and I’s night unforgettable. The romantic ambiance was incredibly warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a special evening. Although I can’t recall the names of my server and the hostess—who I believe was the lovely blonde lady in the rose shirt—I want you to know how much their efforts meant to us. I was so touched when she reached out earlier in the week to confirm our reservation and to inquire about how I planned to surprise my fiancée with the earrings. Knowing how anxious I was about the entire plan, it meant the world to have such thoughtful support from the team. They truly went above and beyond to ensure that our night was memorable, and it absolutely was! Our server was fantastic as well. He really knew the menu inside and out, providing wonderful suggestions to help us navigate our first experience at the restaurant. We are already looking forward to making another reservation because this place has quickly become our favorite, even surpassing Hyde Park downtown in our eyes. Thank you once again from the bottom of my heart for creating such a calming and beautiful atmosphere for our Valentine’s Day dinner. We can’t wait to return soon! - Nathan H.

Wonderful and personal experience at Lindeys! The food was absolutely fantastic and the staff was so friendly, especially to our kiddos. We got the calamari, ahi tuna, bread, and highlight for me was the burger. The kids meal portions were also very generous! Certainly a great place to celebrate a special occasion!

Fantastic first visit two days before Valentine’s Day. Restaurant was busy! Mykl, our server, was great! The appetizer of double cut bacon was delicious. Hubby had steak medallions with garlic mashed potatoes. I had shrimp linguine with capers. Both entrees were fantastic - well seasoned with enough for multiple servings. They also have a great selection of mock tails. We look our next visit.
