The Story of Josephine’sThe story of Josephine’s begins during our executive chef Daniel LeBoon’s childhood. At eight years old, working for his father’s catering company, Daniel discovered a passion for food. This love — and undeniable talent — saw him intern at Philadelphia’s prestigious Le Bec-Fin. He went on to work in Paris at the venerable Hotel Vernet working under the renowned chef’s Alain Solvere and Alain Ducasse. The Log Cabin is a secluded yet welcoming culinary delight! The warmth and charm felt like a hug! Our server, Lauren, was engaging, informative, and clearly an asset. The menu was creative and interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinners - blackened salmon Oscar and the free range chicken breast - prepared to perfection. Sincere thanks to the staff for a great dining experience.

We were out on a rainy Tuesday evening; it was cozy with just ourselves most of the time in the back hightop bar area. Food was perfect. New smoked haddock and prawn chowder was amazing. Crusted flounder very tasty. Meredith was our bartender and server; she was delightful. We are locals and very spoiled to have the Springs and Bullshead in our back yard!
