Restaurants near Sol Duc Hot Springs

It was a quiet evening at this location while we were there, the service and food were excellent….as usual!

The location is beautiful and the restaurant is perfect for a romantic dinner. The food was wonderful and we had a three course meal starting with the oyster appetizer which was exquisite. The main dish was excellent and for dessert we had what looked like a forest bed with a beautiful white and red mushroom cap. It looked surreal and tasted incredibly good. The service was nothing but excellent. Definitely worth a return visit.

My friend had a bowl with chicken. She is gluten intolerant and specified this to the server. When the food arrived, delivered by someone else, the chicken looked like it had a crunchy bread coating. She asked the person if it was gluten free. She didn’t know. Finally the server cane back and said it was gluten free…. The server seemed fairly new (didn’t get her name) and wasn’t as comfortable on her role as most there. I had the salmon benny (my fave) and it was awesome as always!

The Christmas decorations are so amazing - very festive. Greeted by lovely hostesses and our table was perfect. We were not rushed. The food came out quickly and the presentation was appealing. They gave us time to enjoy our meal and only showed up when required. We had the best time.

We had an amazing experience at Finns. We arrived early but they were able to seat us. Our view was the parliament buildings with Christmas lights. Our server, Maya, was exceptional. I had the tuna nicoise salad and my husband had fish and chips. Both were very good. We will definitely go back next time we're in Victoria.
