Restaurants near Southwind II at Shipyard by Hilton Head Accommodations

My husband ordered the duck & he said his was cooked perfectly - medium rare. The scalloped potatoes & veggies (green beans & carrots) were also delicious. He cleaned his plate. I had the smoked salmon appetizer which was good, not much different than what can be found in Costco or ordering online - it came with a lovely horseradish & dill sauce. I also had the crab, avocado appetizer which was more interesting. We had an early reservation which is what I prefer to eating later, but there were people waiting by the time we left around 6:30.

It is our go to restaurant for Christmas Eve. Jody did a great job. We had the special feast of the seven fishes. It was a lot of food and done well. I am Sicilian and my grandparents made the feast of the seven fishes every Christmas Eve. It was our family tradition. We have come for the last 3 years since we moved to Bluffton.

Christmas Eve dinner. We had a reservation and were immediately seated. The restaurant has a nice vibe. Fancy without being stuffy. We were sat in the main dining room which has water front views. Our waiter (I believe he said Kumar but my hearing is not good) was excellent. The food was really good. We started with honey lime shrimp & a bottle of wine Husband had flounder with a spicey vinaigrette with risotto and vegetables and I had the salmon Rockefeller with mash and asparagus. We both loved the meals we chose. Finished with Hummingbird cake (YUM!) and coffee. We enjoyed every aspect of our experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We were seated promptly and the service was wonderful. The waitress was knowledgeable and very friendly. The food was delicious. Pasta was perfectly cooked as was the seafood arabiatta and the chicken francese. Enjoyed our meal!

We celebrated Christmas Eve here and it was fabulous. Food was outstanding and service by Juan and Elias was exceptional. All food was presented like a magazine cover photo and arrived hot. Highly recommend for a special evening!
