Restaurants near Spencer Adams Park

I’m not usually one to write reviews, but Bouchon definitely earned its stars last night! My fiancé and I came for Valentine’s Day dinner and were expecting the typical “lower quality service and rushed atmosphere” but were extremely impressed with all bouchon had to offer! From start to finish, the service was impeccable. I cannot stress enough- if it weren’t for the adorable heart-shaped balloons and rose-petal covered tables, we wouldn’t have even been able to tell it was Valentine’s Day (in the best way possible). On top of the incredible, friendly, and warm service, the food was also top-notch. Starting with the fresh sourdough bread, rounding out with the delectable French-onion soup, to the perfectly cooked surf and turf, this truly was one of the better meals we’ve had. My fiance even said the Warm Lemon-Berry cake was probably in his top 5 desserts ever! So thank you, bouchon, for your incredible staff, delicious food, and giving my fiance and I a new favorite restaurant in Santa Barbara!

I expect a fine meal. Amazingly, my expectations were far exceeded. Truly superb main course and sides. I’m not a gratuitous rater; it was a fantastic dining experience. My guest raved about their selection as well. Bravo Olio e Limone!

We dined very early (5:30pm) as we were headed to a concert at The Lobero. We were seated promptly and our server (and the kitchen) were very efficient. Since we didn't know our time frame, we only ordered main dishes but they came out quickly. I had the ravioli stuffed with spinach & ricotta and with a brown butter sage sauce - 5 large ravioli that were delicious! My husband had the yummy spinach fettuccine with bolognese sauce. By the time we left, the restaurant was filling up and the tables are quite close together so the noise level was increasing so that might be a factor if you're wanting a more quiet evening. Still, we will be back again for the wonderful food.

Bring back the brussel sprouts! We missed them, but pear salad, walnut shrimp, duck rolls ,, ta da, sticky date pudding... Fabulous

Opal is such a warm + welcoming place . Something very comforting in their excellent preparation of the most fresh seafood + their beef dishes as well. Atmosphere relaxed + uncrowded, excellent service + lighting makes for perfect ambiance. Thanks
