Alberts Cafe has a team of passionate baristas and proudly serves Allpress Espresso coffee. We have a small kitchen where we prepare salads, sandwiches and toasties during the day along with fresh pastries, sweet treats and much more. On Friday and Saturday evenings our resident chef prepares a delicious tapas menu. We love to use local produce for all of our menus and support other local businesses.     Had a nice Sunday lunch. Beef was overdone for my liking but that’s risk you take. Food was nice, generous portions and extra mash, veg and gravy if needed. Staff attentive. Try to avoid sitting in front of the big fireplace as it’s freezing!

    My wife and I had a superb meal, celebrating her birthday. The food was sublime, service prompt and pleasant and the general ambience was lovely. We were so impressed that we booked in for Sunday lunch before we left. Highly recommend a visit to this lovely place.

    Excellent all round. Very cosy atmosphere and we weren’t rushed even though we ended up staying for almost 3 hours! Only one comment - please serve the hot drinks hotter!

    Albert Cafe is such a lovely place, especially the outdoor seating beside the river. I booked a table for my family to celebrate a wedding and the staff were absolutely lovely. They were accommodating and all so kind. We had the lovely surprise of having a bite to eat (which was delicious!) there whilst the Pride Festival was on and we were treated to listening to the music playing there all afternoon. It was such a lovely environment and I'd recommend it to everyone, we'll definitely be going again :)
