Restaurants near Staunton Country Park

3 of us went for lunch today, 2 had never been before. We all had excellent food and service and can't wait to go again.

Pork belly was excellent and others enjoyed soup of the day (tomato and courgette) and squid starters. The only disappointment was a macchiato with a lot of foam but less than one mouthful of coffee. Out of a mix of starters, mains and puddings for 7 people, this was pretty negligible. A really great meal with friendly staff in a nice, calm setting. Would highly recommend.

Great taster menu (Halibut course was Devine) great service. The cost is what you would expect from any restaurants at this level. Loved it all apart from desert on the taster menu the caramel flavour was bitter and it just seemed a like it was trying to be a little more clever than flavoursome. I’m sure this is just a preference thing or maybe our undiscerning palate. Well worth a visit.

I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. The staff are always amazing and very considerate, nothing is too much trouble and the food is first rate. Thanks guys for making our evening so enjoyable.
