Restaurants near Stratton's Independence Mine and Mill

On our anniversary, we each ordered the tenderloin dinners. Both were excellent. Top quality meat and sauces were excellent also. Would recommend either one. First time ordering steak, usually have some kind of pasta. It really is the best Italian in the state.

GREAT place to dine! My husband and I visited to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Even though we were among strangers, we felt we were at home with friends. The food was great, the service is extraordinary, and we highly recommend the Summit Restaurant. I can't get over the staff. They are amazing. We had a glitch with one of our dishes. They were so gracious and made things more than right. We will return and enjoy this wonderful place for another enjoyable meal!

We had lunch at La Taverne with our one-year-old who has several food allergies. Our server, Emily, went above and beyond to make sure he was taken care of the whole time. She brought special bread for him and even surprised him with a dessert after our lunch. He was so happy he could fully participate in the meal and had so many treats! Beyond her special care of our son, she was attentive throughout the whole meal, friendly, and so kind. And, the food was delicious! We will for sure be back!

A group of friends enjoyed happy hour dinner at Prime 25 on December5,2024. Our outstanding server, Michael, lived up to his wonderful reputation. Two of the group had the Prime 25 burger and fries: a very filling selection. Another had the Tuna Tartare which was presented artistically and to taste wonderful. The fourth member of the group chose the seasonal Beet and Persimmon salad. This time it was presented more nicely than previously and had noticeable segments of persimmon that had been missing before. We inquired about dessert in advance because it is on a separate menu and offers an intensely chocolate multilayered cake which is addictive. It did not disappoint. In general, all had a delightful time and look forward to another visit in a few weeks. Thanks to the Chef, Juli, and Michael for making us want to return soon!

Our server was excellent. She answered all of our questions and suggested specific food choices. Food was quite tasty. No complaints.
