Restaurants near The Beach on Longboat Key by RVA

We had a good dinner at the Chart House - hadn't been in a while and was pleased overall. The server was excellent and food choices varied and good so something to suit everyone. The restaurant was nearly full and had a good atmosphere. We had a lovely table on the upper level with views over the water. My only criticism would be that it was too cold and I could see from other diners that they felt the same as everyone kept their jackets/ coats on! It was warmer when we walked down to the main area near the door so it would be good if the upper area was the same. We'll definitely visit again.

The food is exceptional. This is our favorite place on Longboat. Staff always pleasant and efficient. We have dined here often over the past few years and never had a complaint or bad experiencer I highly recommend LA Norma. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent as always. A beautiful day and dining experience. Only wish we could come more often than during our winter escape from Illinois.

An idyllic setting....almost a step back in Florida gentility. From the moist banana bread welcome to the peppercorn steak....each course carefully crafted. Attentive waitstaff. What a delightful experience

Excellent dinner. Best on Long Boat Key. Great cocktails, great atmosphere, great server, the only glitch was my steak was over salted for my taste, but excellent quality cut and cooked to perfection. This will definitely be on our list every time we are down here.
