An intimate and informal space, with a DJ booth and bespoke sound-system, Jazu is a Hi-Fi Cocktail bar that offers serious drinks and a menu of top-quality bar snacks, small plates and larger mains. Ingredient-focused and quality-led, our food menu reflects the same love and care that we put into our cocktails and music offering. Chef Jimmy has 12+ years experience in some of London's most popular restaurants including Elliots in Borough Market, Crispin and Lardo in Hackney; having trained at the Michelin-starred 'Neptune' in Norfolk, he brings the same level of skill and attention to his own menu of refined yet casual plates. Signature dishes include our Fried Cheese croquettes with house lime pickle; Padron Peppers with Seaweed Salt and Tare sauce; Focaccia that is baked on-site daily; and our dry-aged Beef Burger which has quickly become a signature dish and fan favourite. We’ve long loved Canary Wharf and it's rich history of the nearby Docklands and Billingsgate Market, yet Blacklock in a glass tower never quite fit. One look at an old disused warehouse nestled cosily in the corner of Canary Wharf underneath the train tracks of the North Dock and we knew we had found home. Feel the comforting rumble of trains passing overhead conjuring memories of some of our favourite haunts underneath the bridges in NYC - a place where, with the blinds rolled down and away from prying eyes, a decadent lunch can swiftly roll into dinner.

Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell). The menu revolves around the best British produce the country has to offer with grass-fed dry-aged ethically reared beef, sustainable seafood from the South coast and some of the biggest hits from the Hawksmoor New York menu.

We visited with our baby to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Our waiter went above and beyond to give us a memorable experience, and was incredibly accommodating to meet all of our needs. His knowledge of the menu, and recommendations were spot on. The food was delicious, service was impeccable, nothing was too much trouble. Service from entry to leaving was wonderful from every member of staff we encountered.

Food was unreal and cocktails were unique. Live DJ was a nice touch as well. Didn’t give 5 stars because the restaurant was overcrowded and staff took a while to notice us. Perhaps it wasn’t table service - but that never was made clear to us, and the bill was brought to the table when we asked for it. The seating layout was awkward too, we were wedged in between two longer tables diagonally.

Had a great time with our experience overall (always). We celebrated my friend's bday and it went well. The staff was really accommodating and was quick in terms of service. Me and my husband are regular customer in this pizza resto. Their pizza is always on the top our list. Kudos to all the staff specially to the manager who is always providing the best service.👌 We'll definitely come back soon!
