- JJosephEdinburgh/Midlothian •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe have visited White Horse previously & again the food was superb, the staff Hubert & Ben were fantastic & couldn’t do enough for us, we even discussed the music which was much to our liking, as the temperature outside was bellow freezing, perhaps the restaurant could have been warmer. We don’t stay local to White Horse, however, we will be returning as soon as we can, we will also recommend the restaurant to our friends when they visit Edinburgh. - SSamanthaEdinburgh/Midlothian •1 review4.0Dined on 3 Jan 2025We went for the steak frites deal which is available between 4pm-6pm. Steak was delicious and we were happy with the value, although of course you get a little less steak than if you were ordering the normal menu. The service was really stand out- I don’t know how they recruit but everyone was brilliant. They had personality, were so happy and attentive and made the night really fun. My only complaint? We were a bit cold! It’s in a very old building and partly it’s the nature of it but when we went along to Brewdog after they said they often get folk who comment that. Wouldn’t put me off- I’d just wear an extra layer next time! I’d highly recommend a visit.More infoChop House Market StreetPrice: Expensive• Steak• Edinburgh•4.1
- JJoEdinburgh/Midlothian •1 review5.0Dined on 3 Jan 2025I love this restaurant. It has a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. It feels bright, spacious and welcoming when you go in. The food is excellent. Today I had the Hoots Mon Benny, which was absolutely delicious. The best Eggs Benedict I've ever had. Prices are very reasonable. There was a good choice of gluten free options for my husband too. The only thing I would mention as a slight minus is that the restaurant has a "dog friendly" policy, which is becoming increasingly common in all sorts of places now. This doesn't take account of people with a fear of dogs, and those who simply think dogs don't belong in food establishments.More infoLoudons New WaverleyPrice: Moderate• Breakfast• Edinburgh•4.5
- RRafaelChicago / Illinois •3 reviews5.0Dined on 29 Dec 2024Tourist here. Amazing pizza and really cool and kind staff. The pizza is Neapolitan style, so thin crust pizza about 10 to 12 inches in diameter. If you are a light eater, 1 pizza and an appetizer is enough for 2 people. In the words of our server, "if you are hungry or tall", you should look to order the pizza for just yourself as they are not very big but imo, they are filling. My wife and I ordered two pizzas and had quite a bit left over. We are, however, short and not big eaters. Heh. Great place, highly recommend.More infoPizza PostoPrice: Moderate• Pizzeria• Edinburgh•4.6
