Lavagna opened its doors on February 1st 1999.The restaurant offers casual Italian trattoria fare at moderate prices. Supper is The Third restaurant from the Frank crew. Here Frank has taken his favorite classic dishes from all over the north of italy and coupled them with a space that reeks Old East Village charm.     Absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish. Austin took care of us and just made us feel right at home. Made great recommendations to us and just did pretty perfect service overall. It was very loud which was expected and didn’t bother us all that much, what was a little annoying was these people beside us with ring lights blinding us all dinner but other than that, perfect service all the way through. Couldn’t recommend the tasting menu enough!!! Great value with so many great options:)

    Soothr never fails - everything is just delicious! Dumplings for starters were amazing, the beef pad si wi so good and the tom yum delicious and spicy like we wanted. Highly recommend!
