The friendly staff throughout the property to our waiter Terry and his team provided superb service that I know is the brand of Salamander every time I visit. - KKristiWashington, D.C. Area •4 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe loved being on the enclosed patio but once the lunch crowds rolled in we could barely hear each other. It was the Christmas season so not terribly unexpected but disappointing for me because I was conducting a business lunch. Will return for personal dining. The beet salad was wonderful.More infoMagnolias at the millPrice: Expensive• American• Purcellville•4.8
- HHowieVIPBaltimore / Maryland •348 reviews4.0Dined 7 days agoThis was our second visit to Village Square Restaurant and we enjoyed it. It’s good but not great. The ambiance is the best thing going. Comfortable, dim lighting, active fireplace, brick walls…feels a bit like a Colorado ski lodge. We’ve only dined here for lunch. The food is solid. (We’ve reviewed the dinner menu, which seems more special.) Martinis were done nicely, although the pours aren’t generous. We started with a dozen raw oysters, nice presentation. For entrees, my wife enjoyed the pot roast French dip. Good dish. I had the lobster roll. Also good. Devlin, our server, was very nice, personable, but service was slow at times. Overall, a positive but unremarkable dining experience. Even though we haven’t been here for dinner, I’d recommend Village Square “blindly” before doing the same for lunch.More infoVillage Square RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Winchester•4.5
