- GGabrielaLos Angeles •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe food was absolutely delicious, and our server provided exceptional service throughout the evening. We were celebrating my birthday, and the ambiance added a special touch to the occasion. However, the night ended on a disappointing note due to an unprofessional encounter with one of the security staff in the upstairs bar area. When we attempted to take a group picture in an open section that was accessible to everyone and not reserved, the security guard rudely demanded that we move, despite our explanation that we were just taking a quick photo. To our frustration, minutes later, we saw another group use the same area without issue. This inconsistency left us feeling singled out and deeply disappointed, especially after spending over $1,500 on dinner alone. While the evening was otherwise enjoyable, this negative experience overshadowed what should have been a memorable celebration. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to ensure better treatment of all guests in the future.More infoPerch LAPrice: Expensive• French American• Downtown•4.6

Seared tuna crispy rice, yams, black cod, and uni pasta were our faves. First time my date has been to Mrs. Fish; she loved it.More infoMrs. FishPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Downtown•4.5

- CCalvinSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoFabulous restaurant. Would go there again in a heartbeat. It seems like a hidden gem, and perhaps the owners like it that way. I like it that way. There are so many DTLA restaurants that get attention because of things other than what I think is most important, e.g. the views, the location, etc. L'Appart gets the essential things right: the food is delicious, the service is personal and from the owner(s) themselves, and the ambience is on point. The fact that it is so hidden makes it special. If you go on a date here, you should appreciate the person who chose the place. It shows taste.More infoL’APPARTPrice: Moderate• Contemporary French• Downtown•4.6
- ZzaynahTampa / Central Florida West •8 reviews5.0Dined on 8 Dec 2024Bartenders and servers were very attentive and kind, the place is overall gorgeous and unique looking, we really enjoyed the speakeasy downstairs as well I believe the bartender downstairs name was Phil? And he played some oldie speakeasy vibes music that really made it feel like an actual speakeasy. Food and drinks were delicious!! I think my only “complaint” was that our slider buns were a little bit too toasty for my taste. Definitely will be trying a brunch here next time!!More infoProabition DTLAPrice: Moderate• American• Little Tokyo•4
