- NNicoleRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •1 review5.0Dined todayWe visited the Columbia Restaurant in St. Augustine on Christmas Eve, and it was a truly special experience. The restaurant’s Spanish colonial décor was beautifully enhanced with holiday decorations, creating a warm and festive atmosphere that perfectly complemented the charm of St. Augustine during the season. We started with the Croquettes de Pollo as an appetizer, and they were fantastic—crispy on the outside, creamy and flavorful on the inside, with the perfect balance of chicken and béchamel. For my entrée, I chose the Bambino, a hearty and flavorful dish. The slow-cooked beef was tender and well-seasoned, paired beautifully with the rich tomato sauce and yellow rice. Each bite was comfort food at its finest. Even on such a busy evening, the service was top-notch. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy a wonderful holiday meal. Dining at the Columbia Restaurant on Christmas Eve was a memorable experience that blended outstanding food, impeccable service, and the magic of the season. It’s a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy the history, charm, and cuisine of St. Augustine. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️More infoColumbia Restaurant - St. AugustinePrice: Moderate• Spanish• St. Augustine•4.6
- SSanfordJacksonville / Northeast Florida •21 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe are regulars at Cordova and love it. Christmas Eve was extremely busy and we found it difficult to find a place to sit in the lounge while waiting for our dinner reservation at 6:30. The kitchen was slow and we didn't finish dinner until 9:30. We'll definitely go back but this experience was out of the ordinary. We have dined here on Christmas Eve for the last 6 years so it's become somewhat of a tradition for us. Never had this much of a delay in the past.More infoCordovaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• St. Augustine•4.3

We were given light-up holiday hats for everyone in the party because we made a reservation online. So cool! The ambiance was lovely, all decorated for Christmas, a cool little bar, and awesome holiday themed cocktails. The waiter was very attentive. Amazing food! Get the burger! One of the best burgers I’ve ever had! The shrimp bisque was also quite good. My only negative is the price, but I’d rather spend $150 for a meal that supports a small business, with quality hand-crafted food than pay the same for a chain restaurant of the same predictable menu items. We love St. Augustine and come up every December for Night of Lights. We hope to visit Forgotten Tonic again next year!More infoForgotten TonicPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• St. Augustine•4.8

The food was delicious, we had the triple tail with corn salad and I can honestly say it was the best fish I have had in a long time. It was cooked to perfection. Our server was courteous, patient and very professional. I love this hidden gem. it was our second time in two weeksMore infoOld City HousePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• St. Augustine•4.6
