- OTOpenTable DinerGreater Boston •3 reviews5.0Dined todayWas able to walk in around 8pm on a Friday and still get a table. Ambience is incredible, drinks were well made and unique. The food is genuinely amazing. Filet mignon was cooked perfectly and the duck was very flavorful. I highly recommend the lump crab appetizer as well, even the garlic bread was great. Of course its expensive but worth the price. Tables could be a little more spaced out but even though we were at a two top table in the middle of the room (which I particularly hate), the ambience and energy of the room allowed me to enjoy it as if I was sitting in a quiet corner booth. We had Quinlan as our server and he was an absolute stud, real class act that one. Quick, polite, attentive and engaging. I suggest requesting him. Will definitely return next time Im in PortsmouthMore infoToscana Chop HousePrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Portsmouth•4.5
- LLauraNew Hampshire •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThis is THE PLACE to go to slip back into a leisurely, relaxing, beautiful, elegant, sumptuous and overall devine experience. The Victorian charm is such a break from the rush, drama and anxiety of our normal lives. A hot pot of tea provides a soothing escape, and there are so many teas to choose from. The options for dining or desserts should make just about anyone happy. The food is always delicious and homemade. It's a far cry from the over-processed, bagged and frozen standard restaurant fare. The food at the Silver Fountain is plated on beautiful China like our grandmothers' may have used, with real silverware, tablecloths and cloth napkins. Tea comes steeping in pots to be enjoyed from delicate cups. There are no strings with paper tags attached here. The service is kind, friendly, and helpful because they KNOW the teas. It is definitely an experience that delights my tastebuds and refreshes my spirit. You might even choose to indulge yourself further by taking home a bag (or two or three or more) of the loose leaf tea. You can also purchase a teapot and/or tea cups if you wish to bring home a bit of Victorian charm for yourself.More infoSilver Fountain Inn & Tea ParlorPrice: Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Dover•4.9
