We had reservations on Valentines Day for lunch, so it was busy as expected. Everything was great. We waited maybe 10 minutes to be seated with a reservation, partly because we requested a booth instead of a table. I have waited longer in the past for a table without a reservation. The service and food were all excellent. We had a meal, cocktail and dessert. I have been to this location several times in the past and it has been very busy. I will mention that the only negative about it is because of the openness of the floor plan and how busy it is, it is sometimes quite loud. Otherwise, highly recommend!!

Four people--three meal choices: the short ribs, the filet mignon, and the walleye dinner. All were outstanding. The ribs and the filet mignon were tender and flavorful, as was the walleye for which the Inn is known. We each had a cocktail and were very satisfied--no scrimping with the alcohol, which was nice. Sue, our waitress, was top-notch--I think she's been there for years so she is very experienced. No dessert for us although the choices looked yummy. Lake Elmo Inn is a special place and worth the trip there, for sure.

We received a gift card for Christmas and saved it for our anniversary dinner. Everything about the experience was exceptional. The staff was welcoming and gracious and our server, Henry, was an absolute joy. We each had a cocktail and shared the nachos for an appetizer. I'm not normally one to gush over nachos but OH! were they delicious. I'd eat those 100 times. I had the salmon, which was perfectly cooked; my husband had the sturgeon which was also perfect. We ended the dinner with a surprise dessert in honor of our anniversary. All in all, it was pricey but worth it for a special occasion. We'll definitely go back.

A beautiful place with great authentic food! The food quality is excellent, and the ambience is dreamy, set between a stunning vineyard view with igloo options! The cost is reasonable—a must-visit for everyone.

We ate at the Afton House Inn Fine Dining, Dining Room. The staff is courteous and friendly. They were helpful and so kind. We just loved our server, Phillipe! The blackened Mahi Mahi was s bit dry, but we were told they may try a new recipe on the menu to remedy that so do ask if they have a new addition to try. Steak Diane is always good and something we have been back for numerous times! The green beans and potatoes were cooked to perfection as well! It was the perfect birthday celebration for my husband and a wonderful place to relax after the holiday. The festive decorations were still up so it looked so beautiful.
