Each day, the restaurant receives natural, local organic meats and produce from nearby vendors. The inclusion of regional Pacific Northwest ingredients into a menu of dishes developed in the south has created a unique flavor profile in Screen Door's menu.     Jake's Famous Crawfish is one of our go-to restaurants in Portland. It's been there forever (actually, more than 100 years) and retains its old-world ambiance and service. Servers all wear short, white jackets and are schooled well, so even the younger ones thrive, and there are several true veterans. The food is prepared perfectly and arrives quickly. It's great for a special occasion or with a special friend. It tends to be busy on weekends, so make a reservation.

    Great food and fantastic service tonight at the Screen Door. Had the deviled eggs, house salad, fried chicken and cranberry crumble dessert. Everything was so good. Our server was super fun and nice. Great experience.

    I could not recommend Mediterranean Exploration Company enough! Everything we ate was 11/10. We also sat at the counter and watched the chefs, which was incredible. Truly one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve ever had and we will definitely be returning to try all of the foods that we didn’t get to try. Highly recommend the crispy lamb hummus with pita and spiced carrots dishes. Falafel and grilled octopus dishes were also delicious!
