Red Dog is an authentic Bar and American BAR-B-Q restaurant, serving 18-hour roast ribs, brisket, aged chuck steak burgers and much more, all best enjoyed with tasty cocktails or milkshakes.Barbeque grew up in the South of the USA where cooks learned to slow roast cuts of meat over fire pits to make them tender. Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky and juicy taste to the meat. The Wheatsheaf at Greetham is a delightful experience. We’d eaten here before and loved it so came back for more. The waitress was attentive without being over enthusiastic and Carol’s home made bread was as good as we remembered. Both our meals were delicious and the wine (we always have a bottle) was not over priced. The landlord was also attentive but never in your face. We will be going back.
