Opened in 2017. Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great burger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s kind of a bistro, kind of a diner, internationally inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto.Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees. Really great experience. Staff was knowledgeable and open to talk about the drinks being served. Management was involved and really focused on us having a good time. Scott was attentive as a server, bartenders took time to explain drinks. Cool vibe, will definitely go again. My second time and its been great both times

Aloette made for the perfect date night! The service was exceptional—attentive and friendly. The food was outstanding, from the melt-in-your-mouth lamb skewer to the delicious Aloette burger with Beaufort cheese. The sides—we grabbed the tots and crispy butternut squash—were incredible. The ambiance, paired with great music, set a relaxed yet lively mood. We finished with the perfect slice of carrot cake. Everything was top-notch, and we can't wait to come back!

Each dish was innovative and unique, combining flavor profiles that compliment each other. We went with our servers recommendation of the venison carpaccio, leeks dish, crab noodles and duck. We especially were blown away by the venison, leeks and crab noodles. I would definitely be back, it’s a nice alternative to all the other Toronto restaurants who create the same five dishes over and over again.
