Visited for Christmas Eve dinner as a party of 6. IT WAS PACKED. Like I’ve never seen it. But guess what? Despite a short wait past our reservation time (15 min? 20? completely reasonable for a full house on a holiday) our experience was the same as if it was a slow night. Our servers were personable and thorough, the meal was nicely paced, and every course was served at the right temperature and with lovely presentation. Only disappointment was the tomahawk cut that my husband ordered being sold out… bummer, he was really excited for that entree and had to pivot to a ribeye. Hats off to CG for really solid execution on what has to be one of the most hectic nights of the year there. If you’re looking for a lively Christmas Eve in the city, I can’t fathom anywhere else was THIS busy and also so on pointe.

Greeted warmly loved that we were seated in the main dining hall. I loved that I was able to people watch! Many guests came for a buffet and were disappointed! But the atmosphere and Indias smile were so engaging that she made up for the lack of buffet

We got one of the specials, the scallops. Server failed to mention the cost was $60, way higher than any other entree on the main menu. Not cool to subtly gauge you customers. Fried Burara outstanding as was Not Your Grandma's Strawberry Pretzel dessert. Crab cakes very good. Great ambience. Very noisy. Need something that absorbs sound.

James was an exceptional server/bartender/Sommelier/hostess! He gave perfect recommendations to pair with our starters and meals. The Norwegian Halibut was amazing! The evening was extremely special celebrating our dad’s birthday. It was sweet and memorable to have two daddy daughter dates as well. Molly also was so sweet! We will definitely come back! Excellent food and good portions spoiled this visitor from nYc. Lobster bisque actually had lobster chunks, the avocado toast with Benedict eggs was superb, and the Reuben sandwich close to perfection. Terrific service and very reasonable brunch prices. Will mos def be back!
