Restaurants near Waugh Park

Rocca Ristorante always knocks it out of the park. The ambiance is lovely, the food is delicious, and their service is consistently top-notch. The San Francisco Bay Area has always prided itself on excellent service, and Rocca is one of those restaurants that has stayed true to this over the years. Kudos to their management!

Parking is an issue. This is a “neighborhood” spot off of a busy Rl Camino Blvd in Millbrae. Food was ok not great. Very noisy and bustling if that’s your thing. Service was very good. Great pours of wine by the glass( equivalent of 2 normal glasses)

We had an incredible birthday dinner. We’ve been coming for 13 years and the food is always great, but was especially delicious tonight. The servers were friendly and attentive. The skewers are so tender and well seasoned. It’s a great spot to celebrate a special occasion or really any night.

What a hidden gem!! I had a meeting nearby that finished around dinner time. I wanted to try a new venue. I often times go to OpenTable to look for my dining choices. Café Figaro had great reviews so I stopped in. I was immediately greeted by Will, took a seat at the bar and had an incredible dining and social engagement over the following 1.5 hours. Amazing wine selection. I had the Rigatoni with Sausage and it was incredible. My only regret was that I was by myself, otherwise I would have ordered several dishes and dined family style to sample more of the great choices. I will be back soon.

The variety on the menu is amazing which allowed us to have a wonderful dinner that entertained our tastebuds. Would definitely recommend to others. Local neighborhood gem.
