Love and Salt is a story that begins with Cafe Pierre, a restaurant birthed by Guy Gabriele in 1977 to bring a taste of France to Los Angeles’ South Bay. While Cafe Pierre was a beloved part of the community for nearly 37 years, in 2014, Guy and his daughter Sylvie Gabriele, now the owner of Love and Salt, closed the restaurant to bring new life to the iconic space.Love and Salt is a philosophy: that food needs only two ingredients to be great.     Our server - Sebastian! Amazing! Always friendly and gives great advice. Ambience - Dimly lit and a great vibe. Not too boujie and always feel welcomed. Food - each dish is its own star. Cheesy bacon bread is fantastic. Their pretzel appetizer is awesome. Brussel sprouts are super good. Charcuterie board is on point. Their skirt steak is ridiculously good. MBP is my favorite spot in Manhattan Beach!

    This place ALWAYS exceeds my expectations in food, ambiance, and service! Once I met the manager, Jennifer, I understood why. From the personal welcome, to her attention to detail, she makes you feel like you've walked into an establishment that appreciates it's patrons . I'm new to California and the area so it meant so much to receive such a pleasant experience. She is the reason that I now visit this location at least twice a week. Any meeting or visitor coming into town, this is where I take them first!! I can ALWAYS count on Jennifer and her team to provide excellent service. BIG THANKS to Jennifer for your genuine, accommodating spirit and for passing that down to your staff. I was there last night and will be back later this week! If you haven't experienced this place, RUN, don't walk. You won't regret it! TEN STARS!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
