- HHarrietCornwall •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoFrom the greeting to the farewell, the service was genuine, knowledgeable, friendly, suggestive but not pushy and very professional. The Afternoon Tea was an absolute delight, all of the teas, tasters, canapés, wonderful sandwiches/fillings, extremely adaptable to dietary requirements and the desserts and scones were divine, light & warm. We opted to share a supplemental Caviar Canapé, new to Caviar we were unsure, but when you have a team of chefs like they have, trust in your server and their suggestion. We were blown away, excellent. I would recommend a visit to this restaurant without question or hesitation. We will be back for more for sure!More infoUgly Butterfly by Adam HandlingPrice: Very Expensive• British• St Ives•4.9
- AAliceLondon •6 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoI had a lovely birthday meal at La Casita - as it’s the off season in Cornwall, it was very quiet but still a lovely ambience. The food was delicious and a very generously portioned paella filled with meat/seafood. The staff were very accommodating of my nut allergy, provided the matrix for me to check my order and gave me reassurance. The cocktails were also great!More infoLa CasitaPrice: Moderate• Spanish• St Ives•4.7
- OOpen TableCornwall •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoOur recent visit to Reef&Beef was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish. For starters, we opted for the soup and scallops, which set the tone beautifully. The soup was comforting, perfectly seasoned, and brimming with flavor, while the scallops were cooked to perfection. For mains, we enjoyed the ribeye steak and pork belly. The ribeye was beautifully marbled, cooked exactly as requested.Meanwhile, the pork belly was indulgently tender with a crisp, golden crust that added the perfect contrast of textures. To round off the evening, we had the crème brûlée and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The crème brûlée was a flawless classic, with its creamy custard and perfectly caramelized top. The sticky toffee pudding was indulgent and comforting. The atmosphere was warm and inviting.Highly recommended for anyone looking for an elevated dining experience!More infoReef and Beef St IvesPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• St Ives•4.6
