Restaurants near West Elm Street Park

My nicoise salad was very good. My friend ordered the salmon poke bowl. It really was small & high priced for the size. Our waiter was very nice. The only negative, it was cold in the restaurant.

The restaurant is outstanding and beautiful. The food is outstanding. The service was a little slow at first, especially for a Monday night (but it was packed, on a Monday night!) And the line cook salting the crispy potatoes was waaaaay too heavy handed. I politely and not even remotely annoyed mentioned it to the server and they comped both the potatoes and one of our desserts, which was totally unnecessary and unexpected. We would come back again and again. In fact this is my second trip!

I thought this restaurant was great - a nice addition for healthy clean food. However, the menu was confusing - there were items that were clearly not vegan such as prime rib but there was no explanation of what the item actually contained. When we asked the server, she seemed somewhat indignant that we did not know that the tuna special was actually tomatoes.

We had the best time and loved our menu choices which included the trio spread sampler, moussaka and the chicken skewer entree. My daughter and I loved everything and look forward to enjoying our leftovers at home. Service was great in the very busy dining room! We love Avli.

I'm so glad I gave Jimoto another chance. The food was delicious and our server was great. We will be back.
