My family of five adults and a one year-old granddaughter enjoyed our second meal at Leilani‘s on the beach during our one week vacation on Maui. The ambience was superb as it was a nice evening with a beautiful sunset. Our server was Derek, and he was wonderful. He was attentive, friendly, and helpful. All our requests were taken care of by Derek. The food was superb again as usual. We enjoyed the calamari and Korean pork ribs as starters, and the pork ribs are very flavorful! They had a children’s menu for our one year-old, and she devoured most of the chicken and green beans. Two of us enjoyed the superb sesame crusted tuna with a tasty shiitake soy butter. One daughter enjoyed the shrimp pasta, and the other enjoyed the Alaskan King crab legs. Even though the crab legs were expensive, there was a large amount of meat within the large crab legs, and the crab meat was so tender and succulent. It was worth the price! My wife enjoyed the ribs and chicken plate. The proportions of food was generous and the timing of service between the appetizers and entrées was spot on. It was a lovely evening with a great meal and wonderful service at Leilani‘s on the beach. We look forward to our next trip to Maui so we can have dinner at Leilani‘s on the beach.

Beautiful location and the restaurant is lovely itself. Unique and tasty cocktails. Fam loved the ahi bowl and ribs apps. Delicious and unique pad Thai. Would have appreciated more input and guidance from our server but we managed okay. Visit, it’s really a lovely evening.

Fabulously delicious dinner! Our server recommended the opaka paka special. Both my husband and I ordered it and we both fell in love with the dish. The flavors and textures were amazing. We usually have relaxed dinner conversation but we were so mesmerized by the dish that we could only eat.

We love making our first dinner stop at Mala - it’s our favorite spot when we come to Maui. Food is ALWAYS amazing and the service is fantastic. We started with the Oyster shooters - sooooo AWESOME!! Then the Tuna bruschetta. And for our entrees - pork shank & pan fried mahi-mahi, along with the risotto & gnocchi- AMAZING dinner!! Thx Mala, u didn’t disappoint!!
