If guests just need some premium meat to bring home to cook, the butcher shop has its own entrance at the side of the building where guests can peruse all kinds of cuts of beef, lamb, pork and various kinds of house made sausages and pate. Naturally, Laurelhurst Market's menu focuses on the many fine cuts of meat that are cut on-site as well as farm fresh produce. Walk-in's always welcome! Screen Door is a restaurant that presents itself as a love letter to the American South and the revival of regional cooking. Each day, the restaurant receives natural, local organic meats and produce from nearby vendors. The inclusion of regional Pacific Northwest ingredients into a menu of dishes developed in the south has created a unique flavor profile in Screen Door's menu. Many of Screen Doors dishes draw their inspiration from Louisiana and the Cajun cooking that's found there.     Agh, the Tirol, food made with familiar ingredients combined as the Swiss do from intoxicating mountain peaks. As I have Swiss ancestry I can say the food is frank, and precise even the food comes in peace indeed the coziness of knowing what is simple, say pickled celery. The air might be thin at the mountain top yet here it is sturdy like a mountaineer’s cane with a finish as bright as pears and smoky fish with your own milk pot bubbling with cheese. It’s calming it’s fun it’s a night out full cheer. I’ll budiono that.

    We made a reservation to do the Rice Table. We arrived right when they opened since our reservation was at 5pm. The ambience is casual with nice decor. The Rice Table includes a tremendous amount of food and an excellent variety. All of the chili sauces were perfect condiments for the dishes. Some of our favorites were the satay, the roti, and the clams, but everything truly was delicious and the staff was fantastic - everyone was very friendly and had a great sense of humor. We really loved our experience. My parents were born and raised in Indonesia so we grew up eating the "real stuff" and it was wonderful to be able to have high quality versions of the dishes that we grew up with. One of the chili sauces was something that my Mom used to make all of the time. It was such a lovely taste of home done so well.

    Delicious food, especially for the cost. The bartender was our server. Very helpful, great service. Deviled eggs are insane. Beet salad was a genius combo of flavors and the ny strip was tender and juicy. I advise getting it med or med rare.
