Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca.     The service was warm and welcoming. Our questions answered professionally and politely. The drinks order taken at the tab, followed shortly after by the food order. We didn’t feel rushed over our choices which was lovely. The food was delicious, meat, vegetarian and vegan options, all really tasty. My 85 year old mum said the ribs were the best she’s ever had! The pub was really pretty, old timber beams and low ceilings and cosy.

    Lovely pub, took my brother for his birthday treat and although we ( my husband and I) have been before, he was very impressed. Only flaw was the offer on the menu for 2courses for 17.50 wasn’t available, which was disappointing. Albeit, we had no complaints, food was lovely and service was second to none. Thanks to all involved x
