At its core, the concept behind Italian cooking stems from necessity and gratitude for regionally available ingredients. This naturally sustainable approach allows for innovative, yet familiar dishes that highlight the seasonal availability of what’s grown and raised in Texas. Terrific food, wine, service and ambience. We went full Italian over steaks. Refreshing Redfish crudo and crispy squash blossoms w delicious ricotta filling were great starters. The frutti di mare and osso bucco are highly recommended entrees. Generous servings of the best Italian cuisine in ATX. Wine selections were excellent and reasonably priced. Bravo!

Canje is one of the best restaurants in Austin - the food is consistently good. Last night we enjoyed the avocado escabeche, plantain chips, West Indian curry, and jerk chicken + rice and roti. Every bite was delicious. As good as it is, Canje is one of those increasingly common super-loud restaurants. But, last night we sat on the covered patio and it was perfect. We'll definitely come again for excellent food and a comfortable setting.

My new favorite restaurant! Super friendly and welcoming staff to us and to our dog. Cheesy Garlic Bread was yummy, as were the chicken pot pie and chicken Francais. Interesting cocktails too. My favorite cocktail is a Negroni and I tried their Dirty Negroni and loved it. There were so many tempting items on the menu that I want to return and often!
