Le Rendez-vous is an outstanding restaurant with superlative service and superb food. Prices are reasonable for this class of establishment. The wine list features a wide variety of offerings and price points. I consider this restaurant to be at the top end of restaurants in the Tucson area.

The food is memorable. The sea bass was succulent and delicious. The steak frite was perfectly cooked. Don’t pass up the escargot. So delicious. While the crepe Suzette was not flaming, it was beyond delicious. When we inquired if they ever serve it flaming, the waiter became visibly agitated and blurted out,” Absolutely not. That’s not how it is prepared.”
Other than lackluster, inattentive service when our waitress was forced into double duty as the bartender and a table not to our liking, we would return for the food.

Food is always great there. Just a great and very low key upscale restaurant. It is not a huge venue. And food is great and service is very attentive.

Mussels in wine sauce were excellent as well as the sea bass special. The small plate appetizers were a great value and a good way to sample different offerings. Great meal.

Pretty unique restaurant for Tuscan. Had well prepared old reliables and a couple of specials. Added bonus has $11 small bites so small bites, full appetizers, and full meals. Great for sharing or fitting everyone’s appetite.
Excellent soup (French onion and one other daily), and moderately priced wine list.
Add in restaurant only parking lot and it is a wonderful dining experience.

We Like Le Rendezvous and recommend it to friends. However, it is always with the caveat that the noise level can at certain times be more than a little loud and depending on the dish, I suppose, waiting time for one's entre can be a while. We are familiar with France and European restaurants, so this is nothing unusual for us. The service once again was excellent. Where do you find such competent and friendly young women like Rosie and Sophia. Your training and their ability to "catch on" is remarkable.
