The Leis Family Class Act Restaurant is our student run fine dining restaurant at the University of Hawaii - Maui College. Students enrolled in the Maui Culinary Arts Program are your chefs and servers under the leadership of their instructors.
We serve a 3-course prix fixe menu with an a la carte dessert option on Wednesdays and Fridays with reservations available from 11:00am - 12:30pm.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Reservations will be available via OpenTable Starting Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 6:00am Hawaii Time.
Lunch: Wednesdays & Fridays. Reservations available from 11:00am-12:30pm.

Unique and wonderful 5 course meal. A server who recognized us from a previous visit to Leis Class Act gave us a hug. This is so Maui Ohana.

Excellent service. Took too long to get entrees. Steak was very good and cooked just right. My pasta dish was a fail. Under cooked pasta and beans. Should have been served in a bowl with the broth, not on a plate with a fork.

The living classroom was a bit challenged-back of house. Long delays between courses. Fortunately we were not in a hurry. The students were well informed and very attentive.

Had a wonderful lunch. Our server was very conscientious and professional. We had a lovely Italian lunch. It was such a sweet early valentines lunch.

Returning after a 4+ year lapse to find the still high attention to detail and quality service instilled upon these students wishing to become part of the Industry. Food selection and portions for Luncheon were perfect. Presentation was in keeping with local traditions.

Had our usual great meal. We reserved for 12:30 PM and noticed that some of the food is not available Will in the future reserve 11:30 AM. Dylan was great and very friendly and attentive. It takes almost 2 hours to eat which is fine with us, but some diners may find that timeframe too long.

We enjoyed the French theme. Thesalman and lamb was excellent. The tomato bisque was very good as well. There was a delay in getting served, and the meal lasted over 2 hours. However, it was Ok.

The best fine dining on Maui. An amazing business model- the students are learning all aspects of the restaurant business as the serve, cook and graciously interact with the diners. We love this place !
