Appetizers- Shrimp and the crab stuffed peppers were amazingly good! Also, branzino and short ribs were delicious as well. We didnt like the special drink, but besides that the food was great. Service was on point as well. The only thing we dont like about Libertad is you come away smelling like the you were in the kitchen, because in a way you are. Restaurant needs to find a way to keep the smoke from the kitchen out of the restaurant. Dinner was also very pricey. But we will definitely go back

This was perhaps my 20th visit to Libertad, and it was the least enjoyable. The food remains excellent, although no longer as carefully set up to be shared. Some dishes are very hard to divide. However, the food remains the best feature. The service, however, just isn't up to former standards. It used to be that you could order one or two things and your drinks, then relax and enjoy them, and then order one or two additional things. It was relaxed, and dining was well-paced. No more. The 90-minute limit per table means everything gets brought out at once. The small tables - especially the two-tops - don't have room for everything. Worse, the hot food gets cold as you work your way through the dishes. The entire experience now has a very rushed feeling. I get that the place is popular, and economics dictates that tables be turned over quickly, but Libertad has been popular for a while now, and the service used to be more gracious. Although the noise level has always been a bit high, this visit found it nearly impossible to carry on a conversation even across a small table. My dining companion and I had to keep leaning forward to hear each other, often repeating what we'd just said. Kind of sad, really.

Casual place with great food and friendly and efficient service. We had Sunday brunch at 11:15. Place was not too busy at that time, but pretty full when we left around 12:30. We found easy street parking within a few blocks. Well worth a trip. Beakfast burrito was a very generous portion and really good.

Libertad's brunch is always excellent. Our party ordered four different entrees and all of them were terrific. One of our party had an allergy to black pepper and the kitchen unexpectedly made a sauce for him. Rave reviews for the avocado toast, breakfast burrito, Cuban sandwich and steak and eggs with a specials shout-out for the Bloody Maria.
