Tulio prides itself on using local ingredients from the Pacific Northwest and serving them in a way that recreates dishes from north Italy. Fresh seafood and an eclectic menu that is friendly for vegans are among the highlights of this go-to spot. Breakfast and brunch specials include thick rustic grilled bread and homemade biscuits along with orange juice, coffee, and morning cocktails. Excellent service and food. Delicious cocktails and they are always great about dietary restrictions!

Rider’s main attraction is their grilling for most meals, but they also have a unique breakfast menu with flavorful creations. The savory section of their breakfast menu includes many items with traditional hearty breakfast ingredients such as eggs and bacon, along with seafood added to some dishes for a local twist. Beverages also include a number of sweet juices to get the morning started on the right foot with high energy levels.

Steakhouse
Downtown
While a steakhouse may not be the first thing that comes to mind about breakfast, Ruth’s Chris opens early every day to serve guests with their first meal in a formal location. Many guests also praise the location near 8th Avenue and the Paramount Theatre and convention center. Seasonal dishes are popular here, making the menu a more dynamic experience, rather than what is expected of traditional steakhouse fare.

We celebrated our 30th Anniversary. The food was outstanding. We appreciated the rose petals on the table. After we finished our meal, the waiter brought us a cheesecake on a platter with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate. Great customer service!

Urbane is unique because of its connection to the local history of the city, along with locally sourced ingredients. The interior decor tells a story that reflects the city's unique contributions to architecture condensed into the space of the interior, with a backdrop that feels like the outside skyline. Some highlights include frittatas, benedict varieties, and their own special Emerald City breakfast sandwich that features ham and scrambled eggs with a unique twist. Nowhere else in the city highlights breakfast quite like Urbane at such an early hour.

The Metropolitan Grill is probably one of the most highly regarded restaurants in the city, due to its formal setting and exclusive clientele. The menu reflects a traditional steak and seafood venue; however, these traditional items are prepared so well and full of flavor that guests keep coming back.

The service was EXCEPTIONAL. The staffing going above and beyond for a birthday at our table. The food was delicious, especially the Benedict's. Access directly off of 5 in the Renaissance with comped underground parking or valet. Will definitely return.

Jimmy’s on Broadway is a real treat for those who want the traditional American breakfast with a modern spin. Breakfast starts early seven days a week, and the menu is filled with classics such as French toast, pancakes, eggs, and even a special morning cocktail menu with bloody marys and other creations. This is a great stop for those who want a more typical breakfast done well by local Seattle chefs.

The Dunbar Room places a special emphasis on its communal and social aspects, which include a jazz brunch every Sunday. The breakfast menu is served daily, and has a large selection of coffee and espresso, along with plates of fried potatoes, hash, bagels and lox, eggs, and some other breakfast staples. This casual stop may be more for slow mornings to enjoy a breakfast experience, rather than a before work meal for those who need to leave within an hour.

Mediterranean
Downtown
This may be the most popular and frequently booked restaurant on the entire list for the best breakfast in Seattle. The Mediterranean-themed breakfast options include gravlax and Greek yogurt. There is also a special jalapeno-infused bloody mary for those who need to wake up with a kick from a spicy breakfast drink. Lola is consistently reviewed with enthusiasm by guests, and the location seems to have developed a system for handling crowds well and seating groups in a reasonable time frame. Lola truly deserves its elite reputation among frequent diners and critics.

Located on Second Avenue just a couple of blocks from the ocean, it is no surprise that this is a seafood establishment. The emphasis here is on coastal seafood that is unique to Seattle, so expect local delicacies that are great for those who have never been to the city before. Crab Cakes Benedict paired with ham and avocado is a breakfast dish that demands attention, along with other unique creations.

Everyone commented that the food was very good. We really enjoyed our time there and will go again. Our server was very friendly and the service was good. I wish I had room for dessert, but the portions were great and I just could not fit it. :)

This is a tavern with the themes of the frontier and lumberjack décor. The breakfast menu focuses on locally sourced coffee and the kinds of traditional breakfast foods you would expect such as eggs, bacon, and pancakes, but done with a touch of the tavern's unique flavor, which should not be missed. This spot is also highly regarded by locals for its consistency of high quality food and great service, making it a candidate for the best breakfast in Seattle.

The outlier is a fixture of downtown Seattle that tends to be popular with locals and frequently booked due to its consistently great service over the years. The breakfast menu centers around pastries, fruits, and grains, along with eggs accompanied by the signature outlier potatoes and toast. This may be a great stop for commuters and those who end up in the central business district early in the morning.

My friends and I picked this for lunch as we saw a 20% off promo - the food and ambience were great, the service was a little bit slow, and that is tough when you are dining midday during a lunch break!

This is the first and only restaurant on the list to feature French cuisine and the feel of the French Quarter in New Orleans, which is a standout in Seattle. The breakfast menu here is extensive and more varied than some of the other locations, featuring the only place in Seattle to get such a variety of Creole- and Cajun-inspired dishes in the morning. For lovers of New-Orleans-style cooking, this is the obvious choice.
