I hate it when restaurants put a discretionary service charge on. I pay it but would tip anyway if the food and service are value for money.And a further point is the Employer should be paying decent salaries without staff having to rely on tips for their living.

Had a great meal, staff and service was excellent. The menu was simple and had a very good balance between fantastic meaty choices, great veg and sides, and a great fudge sundae. The drinks were very good with an excellent choice of well priced cocktails, house beer and a good looking wine list. Even the espresso was excellent!

Great food and great service. We came the week before Christmas, and a few items weren’t available like the karaage and the black cod miso. We had the cod replaced with salmon and the server was great at recommending menu items.

Everytime me and my family come here the staff are always friendly and very professional! The food is absolutely delicious and we never expect anything different! They have a great selection of drinks on the menu and the salad bar has a lot of selection too! I would definitely recommend if you love meat!

Amazing experience from the arrival to the departure. We were looked very well by the team and even offered a table by the window. Great selection of signature cocktails with good use of ingredients, presentation and choice of glassware. We liked the classics too- especially the Negroni. Beautiful atmosphere and sleek service. This is an amazing Michelin star restaurant. The food, service and ambience are top class. We enjoyed my birthday celebration with the family. The set menu was fantastic and totally worth the money spent. It is pricey though but to be expected with such a restaurant.

The Hawksmoor is the best! That they serve the best steak is a given (we had the porterhouse between 2 of us) but the cocktails are interesting and tasty (full-fat old fashioned with clarified butter anyone?) and the waiting staff are all lovely and attentive (without being hovery). Oh and the sides and desserts are great too. We’ll be back again once we have digested this meal (we probably don’t need to eat for the rest of the week).

I’ve been to the Ivy many times and we were visiting for my sister’s birthday. The venue is lovely which is why I always come here for special occasions. Our server was friendly and helpful. Everyone was really happy with their meals and good size portions too. The buffalo mozzarella was very delicious. Lovely gesture to give my sister a free desert with a candle in it.

Delicious fish and chips, Shepherds Pie, and Aubergine and Lentil dish. Side orders of peas and mashed potatoes were lovely. Only reason reduced service feedback was because our waitress leant across our small round table to serve and clear, instead of walking behind each diner..... !
