About the restaurant
The place-to-be for seafood lovers, as well as those that enjoy everything from Korean-style chicken to Mexican corn, Beetle cat is as fun and quirky as they come. The space itself is decorated in a manner that is reminiscent of someone's basement in the 1970s, featuring wood paneling, funky trinkets, lava lamps, and so much more. Although the atmosphere is laid-back, their menu is anything but. Serious about the food they serve, diners can indulge in their whole branzino dish, crab fried rice, sweet curry shrimp, and of course, their twice fried chicken, served with sesame buttermilk dressing and chili sauce.

The food was awesome but the servers were a bit over zealous on removing plates and drinks without asking if we were done.

About the restaurant
When it comes to tapas, tacos, handcrafted cocktails, and a funky Spanish vibe, Bar.bacoa is the place-to-be. Featuring local artwork throughout, vibrant textiles, and a covered patio, this is a great spot to kick-back after work, enjoy date night, or catch up with the girls. Tapas include everything from Mexican street corn to back-wrapped dates, pork carnitas to ceviche. Their fried chicken dish is served with a chipotle mash, alongside an ancho-chile sauce. Fancy fried chicken in a taco instead? Their "trailer park" taco is topped with house queso, shredded lettuce, and pice de gallo. For vegetarians, their buffalo cauliflowers and tempura fried avocado tacos are a must.

About the restaurant
Nothing says "fried chicken" quite like The Southern Gentleman. This bright, classy eatery features a light blue wrap-around bar, highlighted by over a dozen hanging light fixtures. While The Southern Gentleman certainly boasts an impressive bar and cocktail menu, it is their food that attracts the masses. During brunch, their buttermilk fried chicken and skillet pancake, served with house-cured candied bacon and a bourbon pecan syrup is certainly something to write home about. For supper, their fried chicken recipe is served with classic sides, including mac 'n cheese, braised greens, and a biscuit.

A yummy dining experience! The food offers a perfect blend of flavors that truly satisfies. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing meal with friends. The music adds to the overall vibe, with an uplifting tempo that enhance the atmosphere without being overwhelming. The sweet potato cornbread wasn’t a hit, and should be taken off the menu (in my opinion).
