Japanese
Covent Garden

Flesh & Buns takes cues from Japanese izakayas, where the menus are packed with salty, umami-rich food meant to make diners thirsty. Though izakayas are typically known for late-night grub, Flesh & Buns’s two-hour bottomless brunch (served every Sunday between noon and 4 pm) steals the show. Expect do-it-yourself steamed buns, sashimi, Korean chicken wings, and more, accompanied by a steady stream of bloody marys and bellinis. Dig into it all in a subterranean Covent Garden space lined with intimate booths that feel like a Tokyo tavern.

Soho

Get ready for a carnivore's dream at Temper's bottomless brunch. The fiesta-like experience, available from noon to 3:30 pm every Saturday, is an ideal way to sample the barbecue restaurant’s greatest fire-cooked hits. Tear into platters of coal-roasted beef, housemade smoked sausage, and pork burnt ends—all of the meat is butchered in-house—matched with sides such as bourbon-pickled chillis, paratha, and chimichurri. Wash it all down with drinks that also bring the fire, including a Lychilli margarita (tequila, lychee juice, and hot sauce). At the Soho location, a seat at the long counter means a view of the buzzy open kitchen.

This elegant brasserie is known for stellar onsite entertainment, so it’s no surprise that its bottomless brunch is also one of the most festive in town. From 11:30 am to 5 pm each Saturday, diners are treated to chef Jack Smith’s contemporary European dishes, Champagne, and live R&B and pop music performances by local singers. Choose from a variety of enticing egg options or get the prix-fixe meal, featuring lunchier dishes such as chilled corn velouté, roasted harissa aubergine, and a knockout house burger—then burn it all off on Quaglino’s always-bustling dance floor.

The live music duo (Tom & Lloren) who currently perform every Monday night were amazing, the food was excellent, tender tasty fillet steak with lovely side orders was my choice, and the desserts went down well too

Go for the tropical cocktails and stay for the one-of-a-kind vegan Caribbean plates. This energetic neighbourhood restaurant run by siblings Jordan and Chyna Johnson brings meat-free island-inspired cooking to Angel, making it the first restaurant of its kind in London. (Its former ghost kitchen avatar was loved by celebs, including Black Panther star Letitia Wright). Brunch is served on weekends between noon and 3 pm and includes jerk plantain fries, pepper “prawns,” and fried seitan burgers, among other plant-based creations. Make it bottomless with 90 minutes of free-flowing rum punch, strawberry daiquiri, or Prosecco. Bonus points for the extra-smooth R&B soundtrack.

We were a party of 15, the service was prompt and the food was wonderful. Staff accommodated our requests and we had a great night, would definitely recommend. I was told the curry goat was delicious and I wasn't disappointed as it was absolutely delicious. I cannot wait to go back so I can try other dishes. Thanks for making my husband's birthday party a delightful evening. We ordered a cake and it was beautiful and delicious.

Sunny days bring Londoners to this sprawling modern British spot, a canalside perch with sought-after outdoor seating. Brunch (available on Tuesday to Saturday from noon to 4 pm) leans Latin American, featuring dishes such as avocado and poached eggs with pico de gallo and chimichurri bavette steak with fries and house salad—especially appealing as the menu’s beef and lamb is sourced from Rotunda’s own Northumberland farm. Diners can drink in soothing water views while sipping on glasses of Prosecco—those looking for something a little different can get the Guava Beermosa, a mix of tequila, guava purée, lime, agave, and beer.

The food was excellent, as was the service, we had a great experience!! The music while lovely, was just a bit too loud for an ambient dining experience. The artiste had a lovely voice and the musicians were clearly great at what they do, however conversation was difficult at times. It is wonderful to have live music while dining, it was just a little intrusive at times.

Nice place to eat, however, food and especially wine is extremely overpriced.
