Calgary is home to some of the top restaurants in Canada. There are several traditional restaurants that have been part of its food scene for decades. These restaurants have a faithful following and serve recipes that have stood the test of time. Known as Stampede City or Cowtown, this city has its share of steakhouses and burger joints. Some are traditional while others have a more modern take on the world of beef. First time at Native Tongues while visiting Calgary. We’ve eaten a lot of Mexican food inside and outside Mexico and wow is this place good! The Papas Norteñas which is delicious but extremely filling. I recommend sharing a bunch of dishes family style your group to try a bit of everything. We would definitely return.

The parking lot was clear. this was perfect as we could wear shoes rather than boots. Turkey dinner with gravy but no mashed potatoes? Decorated beautifully except no Christmas decorations on trees save for the lights. Overall a lovely luncheon thank you for offering this every year.

The Eden was a lovely and quaint situation - far from the large box restaurant experience. The server knew their stuff and was able to recommend appropriate suggestions and pairings. The wine list is excellent but the menu is very small! Excellent beef tartare served on toast, excellent & very unique version of prawns on toast (deep fried!!), sausage & pappardelle was good, but not my favourite. Our bottle of white wine was excellent!

Stopped in for a business dinner. Pizza was fresh and fantastic. Service was outstanding, water was filled and timing on appies to dinner was perfect. Top it off with dessert we shared Nutella Cheese cake and homemade tiramisu. Thanks for another great experience.

Delicious dinner and lovely server. Little disappointed that one of us didn’t get the meal we wanted as they ran out of the cut of meat he wanted, we thought we may have got a small reduction of the price but did not. Overall very good.
