The Carvery Sandwich is amazing. The beef was stacked and so flavorful. Fries were crispy, exactly how I like them. Great meal! Beautiful setting looking over the golf course to the lake and the mountains in the distance. Amazing Team who are very attentive and so friendly. I love 19 Okanagan!

Visited with a coworker and everything was absolutely perfect. Food was delicious and so good. We didn’t have enough room for dessert unfortunately. Next time!

Our first time at Berkeley North and the food was quite amazing. Ambience was interesting.. but fun. We had to try the Gnocchi and that was the highlight of the night. We had the BN salad and the Mushroom Dumplings which was all great. Service was great. Recommended!

The Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant is the new fine dining facility located in the restored Ranche House. Their menu features a contemporary interpretation of Alberta regional cuisine. William Roper Hull and Senator Patrick Burns hold approximately 30-32 guests. Our John Glenn room, located in the upstairs, old master bedroom of the house, holds approximately 12 guests.

Food was fantastic, we had the Caesar salad, fish tacos and the Wagyu beef gnocchi! It was all so delicious! We went out for my birthday, and service was great friendly and attentive. She a candle on my cake 😭 it’s the little things. There’s no question I will be coming back to eat!

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely dinner tonight. We were seated by the window with a view of the river. Our Server Michelle was very personable and attentive. We both thoroughly and I mean thoroughly enjoyed a 7oz Tenderloin served with potato pave, roasted onion, spinach purée and bordelaise. OMGoodness was it good! Kudos to the Chef! We had tea and shared a Chocolate Ganache, totally decadent but the portion was very tiny and we could have each had one wink wink. There was 1 downfall with zero fault of the restaurant, the table beside is was uber loud and the perfume worn by one of the women was totally nauseating and affected my allergies. Fortunately, they were seated a few minutes before we left.

I can genuinely say that the best tasting food is served here in whole Alberta or even Canada. I would never order steak anywhere else, only at Chairman’s. I can also say that the restaurant meets European standards, both in terms of service and food and of course the interior is beautiful as well. Cocktails are superb

The food was delicious! We had appetizers and main course food. Pre dinner drinks were good, but the on-tap cider keg went dry as soon as I ordered a glass. Ended with s can instead, but was teased with a sample from the tap, only to be told the keg went dry. My only dissatisfaction.

A Wonderful Pre-Birthday Celebration at Ernest’s We had the pleasure of dining at Ernest’s at NAIT for my wife’s pre-birthday dinner, as the restaurant will be closed during the Christmas break. From start to finish, our experience was exceptional, thanks in large part to our server, Tron (also known as Tron of Marvel). Tron’s professionalism and attentiveness truly stood out. He ensured that every aspect of our dining experience was seamless, making us feel welcomed and well-cared for throughout the evening. His friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to anticipate our needs enhanced the celebration, creating a warm and memorable atmosphere for my wife’s special occasion. The food was, as always, exquisite, and the service from Tron elevated the entire experience. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Gastown, so I looked forward to showing my SIL this place. As my SIL was still recovering from a bout of diverticulitis, I didn’t order a bottle of wine. I had two wines by the glass, and we shared a few dishes. We started with their fabulous bread service, then a Dungeness Crab salad, an Artichoke tart and their Terrine of Fois Gras. Our “main” was their Agnolotti. I had a glass of 2022 Garnier et Fils Chablis with the salads and a glass of 2016 Synchromesh Pinot Noir from Storm Haven Vineyard in Okanagan Falls, BC with foie gras and agnolotti. The Artichoke Tart was half salad, half egg custard tart with pieces of artichoke between the two. It was a light, refreshing dish. The Dungeness Crab Salad was a visual surprise … the crab was placed between thin slices of radish and decorated with green leaves. It was interesting; perhaps a little too subtle in flavor for me. The foie gras terrine came with two thick pieces of brioche. The square of terrine was decorated with squares of wine jelly, and cherry halves. The terrine was soft and silky and the brioche so buttery. The star of the evening was the Sweet Corn Agnolotti. Pillows of mascarpone pasta were covered with pieces of sweet corn and a generous helping of sliced black truffle. This dish was “to die for” and I wanted to order a second plate. I love the food at L’Abattoir and dine here every time I come to Vancouver.

Girls Xmas dinner, we all enjoyed our meals, I had the pork belly salad, very filling and flavourful. Wine is expensive some cheaper options would be nice. Staff were friendly and always checking if we needed anything. It was a bit chilly by the window/door, but overall I would go back and try some more things.

Masaki is a real find for sake and sushi lovers (and fans of Japanese cuisine in general). Dozens of choices of sake and unique sake cocktails, plus amazing fresh sushi. Try the cranberry yummy Akane Scarlet cocktail! Excellent service, lovely quiet atmosphere.

Our menu represents Chef Michael's Blackie’s best food memories, which span over his 35 plus international career Chef worked in Asia, Latin America and is an expat from the UK.

We are currently open for Dinner weekly 7 days week from 5 to 9 pm. We are known for our blind tasting menu that features 8 dishes shared between minimum of 2 people. We are also open for Sunday Brunch from 10am to 1 pm and offer a sharing 5 course - 10 dish brunch tasting menu.

Our terrific and bubbly server was Hanna. Our meals were very tasty and well spaced between app and main course. We love eating in the tiny house for two. Very pretty with the electric fireplace, festive pillows and twinkling lights on the spruce trees out side our window.

Wow. I was completely wowed by this restaurant. It was beautiful and the drinks and food were stunning and delicious. The service was top notch and to sit at the chefs counter was such a visual treat. Food truly is art. This is the SPOT!

My husband and I are thoroughly pleased with everything we ordered. My favourite appy was the Franco Fries. Did not know what to expect but this was such a great starter with just the right combination of savoury and sweet! The shoestring fries were crispy and cooked perfectly. We also had the calamari, very tender with just a touch of light batter on the outside. This was also quite good by the way but the Franco Fries upstaged the calamari! I had the short ribs as my main entree and wow this was so tender! Hubby ordered a pasta bolognese dish, I did not try it so I can't say either way, but my husband thought it was very good. Panna cotta dessert was sooooo good. We were so full we split it and Im so glad we did. That panna cotta was big enough for sharing. I loved the subtle sweetness and the cookie crumble on top with the fruit compote. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would return again. Our waiter (I'm sorry I can't recall his name) was attentive, pleasant, and quick. Overall we had a fantastic experience.

We have always loved sole but now we love sole even more. Sole is our number one choice for dining in kw. Jason and staff have done an exceptional job with the transformation and we are thrilled with the quality of the service, the food is incredible and the ambience of the restaurant is so improved - warm and inviting yet classy. This was the second time we've invited guests from out of town to join us at The Common Stove. Always a fantastic dinner of incredible flavors and plating creativity. My bride and I shared two entree's: The Halibut and the Duck rolled into pasta shells. Everything was divine without exaggeration. Service with Mel was impeccable: friendly, knowledgeable, and with us at just the right times without hovering. Even the sticky toffee pudding to complete the experience was enjoyed by all four of us..... we joked about asking for a straw for the sauce! We'll be back of course because we love it and there is always more to the menu to enjoy!

My friends and I had a wonderful lunch. Seated next to the stunning xmas tree was the icing on the cake. The food and service was outstanding and the staff were extremely friendly and engaging. A beautiful atmosphere!

Always a great meal at the Nash. Service is 10/10. This was the YYC EXP and the value was excellent. Shrimp ceviche and pork tenderloin were standouts on the prix fix, but everything was tasty and beautifully presented.

We were first time visitors and the experience did not start off great. We had reservations in the dining room, but did not know the front area was the bar and had it's own Hostess. They were busy, but we were the only people in line with the four staff members working the area pretending they didn't see us, or it wasn't there job. I finally had to wave one of them down, only to be told we were down the hall. Some signage could have saved us standing there, and a better reception would have avoided us standing there forming a negative opinion before the night even started. Once finding our way to the Dining Room, again we were the only ones in line and reception from the Dining Room hostess wasn't much better. It was a little strange. Once in and seated, our experience and impressions flipped 180degrees. The service was both pleasantly and perfectly attentive. The food was excellent. It is not cheap, but neither did we feel it under delivered. On a crappy Monday night, approaching Christmas, the place was VERY busy - surprisingly so. Although, the place is smallish which certainly adds to the noise levels. We will look forward to returning and will certainly be mindful when we do of how we are greeted by the hostess.

Perhaps the Wooly concept is best represented by renowned Canadian artist Charlie Pachter’s Queen on a Moose” paintings. These pictures conveyed what would happen if a British pub was transferred to Canada. That pub would feature local foods, beverages and decor. It would be an All-Canadian pub featuring the best of the British pub culture. A local or home-base pub for its guests.

The Wooly was inspired by the Ontario micro-brewery explosion that occurred in the late 1980’s. The brewery industry was dominated by 3 large companies for over 40 years until the start of the craft brewery phenomenon. Teaching a course on beers at the University of Guelph Bob Desautels was keenly aware of this development. When an opportunity to open a pub in downtown Guelph emerged he decided to feature only small micro-brews on tap.

The rest is history!

We always have an amazing meal here. We try to visit at least twice a year. Our server, Cathy, is delightful and explains the pairings at each course. Food is amazing. Wine is incredible. Even the "server helper" (sorry! Didn't get a name!!) is attentive and professional. Even laughing at my jokes, politely lol. It is such a treat to come here. We are fans!!!

Food was phenomenal. If you want wood fire pizza then you need to go here. Small spacing allows for an intimate setting but it is a little noisy. Staff were quick and responsive. A true gem in the city.

Birthday dinner with the family. We were 5, plenty of room. The service was excellent and the server knew the offered products very well and was able to make great recommendations. Too bad the place closed, this was a jewel!
