The Carvery Sandwich is amazing. The beef was stacked and so flavorful. Fries were crispy, exactly how I like them. Great meal! Beautiful setting looking over the golf course to the lake and the mountains in the distance. Amazing Team who are very attentive and so friendly. I love 19 Okanagan!

A very busy & noisy lunch time experience ….but all was great …service and food was excellent …I had 3 guests and one more at the last minute, and they all enjoyed it very much …staff was accommodating for an extra chair at the table. Well done !

I had a great welcoming, a perfect table, excellent service, love the menu, the caviar and beef Wellington are delicious. I had an amazing dining experience once again and I will go back. I would only enjoy having valet service, specially in winter, it’s so convenient and would be part of this premium experience.

Great first experience, our server helped with the menu and all questions we had. Gave us enough attention also with give us enough space. He knew when to check on us and cleared plates and asked if we needed anything. Price point is really good for the amazing quality of food, we had the Mac and cheese, chicken Cesar salad and bbq brisket burger. Food was well cooked and very tasty. I’m not a beer drinker so our server helped me pick a flight and all were tasty. Definitely will be back, recommend to anyone looking to try something new!

Came for brunch and left wondering why we don’t come for brunch every week! Everything was incredibly delicious and beautifully presented. Why anyone would go anywhere else for brunch I do not know. Absolutely top notch food and at a really good price for such a beautiful place. Next level. Just go! I had the waffles this time and can’t wait to go back and work my way through everything else on the menu. It goes without saying that the view and the building are stunning too. Thanks for an exceptional experience.

Our first time at Cafe Boulud and we enjoyed a delightful breakfast! The restaurant and hotel are absolutely beautiful. The service was fantastic and attentive - given we were there on Christmas morning we really appreciated the servers and hosts giving the impression there was no place they'd rather be. Such a fabulous experience at Holts Cafe celebrating my birthday with the Jo Malone Afternoon Tea experience! Marc is a fantastic waiter who attended to our every needs! Very professional! The food was simply delicious and the overall experience a must repeat! I highly recommend!

El Santo is one of my favourite restaurants for delicious Mexican style food. Overall, the food is absolutely delicious, so it is definitely worth a visit. I make a point of going there specifically for the Chili Relleno but I'm not sure if they've changed the recipe or if there's another Chef making it, but this time was a big fail. Regardless, it was worth it, always is, and don't forget to finish off with a coffee and some churros, best you'll ever have.

At an absolutely stellar experience at Fable. As a vegetarian, the squash steak was one of the best veg entrees I've had in a very long time. Deliciously flavoured and interesting (unlike the pasta marinara or risotto that many places seem to resort to as their obligatory veg option). You could tell thought had gone into it. And props to the bartender who took care of us when we were unsure about the options. Our server Olga was fabulous. We had such a good time with her; she put the "cherry on the top" of our wonderful evening. I was dining with my mother and she agreed that it was the best food she had in a long time and was already making plans to return. Thank you, Fable!

Yet another excellent experience at Farm & Fire. Accommodating restaurant that made our party of 8 very welcome. Great table choice and our server helped with suggestions and did not over sell. Tomohawk and full chicken excellent as were sides of mash, croquettes, risotto and carrots. Philosophy and leadership evident in all staff, an example to management. Our favourite in Banff this holiday fortnight.

Always great service, and every course was very tasty. we were 6 people that hd multiple starters main courses and dessert, which were share (We are all Family) and all were great! Servers was beyond compare. We go every Xmas now, as it is always so good.

Housed in two of Vancouver’s most iconic buildings, Homer St Cafe and Bar is a contemporary restaurant set in the base of the historic Homer Building and the Beasley building in Vancouver’s Yaletown district.
Classic comfort cooking takes center stage thanks to a fire engine red rotisserie that roasts all manner of proteins. It’s chicken that’s the star here: served in quarter, half or whole portions, accompanied by classic sides basted in jus.
A decidedly adventurous wine and cocktail list rounds out the menu. We have hosted our large party of girls for our Christmas Secret Santa at LIFT for so many years now and the staff is so wonderful and attentive, the food is fabulous, the holiday decor is delightful and it is a beautiful setting to enjoy a festive atmosphere. Lov Laval used to be one of my favorite all-vegan restaurants, so it’s disappointing to see the changes in both the menu and food quality. I understand the shift to include vegetarian options—if it helps keep the restaurant afloat, it’s better than seeing another vegan spot shut down. That said, the quality of the vegan dishes has noticeably declined. Even staples like the burger and fries are smaller and far less tasty than they used to be. As someone who continues to support vegan-friendly restaurants despite these challenges, I really hope Lov Laval can improve and reclaim the excellence it was once known for.

Here’s a clearer and more concise version: The meal was delightful from start to finish. We began with the escargot and pain au lait—both featuring incredible breads. The pain au lait was melt-in-your-mouth, while the escargot and its sauce were exceptional. For mains, we had the boeuf bourguignon and tournedos rossini. Both were delicious, but the tournedos rossini was the standout. The flavors were extraordinary, with foie gras on top, a delicate brioche underneath, and a perfectly cooked filet mignon in the center. Our server, who was of French origin, was attentive, warm, and lovely, adding a really nice experience. The ambience was gorgeous, and everything about the evening was lovely. A truly memorable experience! We didn’t go to the speakeasy afterwards because we were too full and had a snowy drive ahead of us, but look forward to trying it in the future!

The Mic Mac Bar & Grill is a family-owned business that began in 1963. At that time, all of the meals were made by the owner’s wife who, incidentally, started off with no experience.

By 1966, Mic Mac Bar & Grill had become a local watering hole for men, but ladies arrived on the scene in 1974. The Mic Mac Beverage Room has become famous for its delicious home-cooked meals, especially its steaks, and provides excellent dining in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The air from the front doors just shoot down the main aisle and made it very cold The food was ok, one person had scallops and they were a over cooked same with the fries and the French onion soup not enough cheese. Although our server of the evening was awesome.

We attended the long table Christmas Eve dinner. Food was excellent. I wasn’t fond of the goose, however the duck was good. Roasted vegetables, potatoes, and dessert were excellent. A very nice evening. Very nice wine pairings. Will return to try the regular menu.

It's always a real treat to come to Rapscallion, as it's my favourite restaurant in the city. The staff went above and beyond for my partner's birthday, and everyone was so warm and inviting. Your host at the door is always always my favourite person who's smiling face and attention to detail is second to absolutely NONE in the Hammer. I was gifted a copy of your recipe book that I've been coveting, because the food at Rap is beyond delicious - as both a French and Italian immigrant, the flavours truly remind me of home, and also appreciate the extensive mocktail and non-alcoholic beverage selections, as that's always a disappointing part missing from so many experiences dining out. I really love you guys. I keep coming back again and again throughout the years because you make the every day extraordinary, and there's none that compare to the quality of food and service, the atmosphere and beautiful vibes, anywhere in the Hamilton area. It was a most wonderful lunch with a very dear friend! It was a celebration lunch of friendship and also the retirement of my surgical oncologist who I was going to one last time before he is done on December 23rd. I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate that than at the River Cafe!! I had the Flank Steak and my friend had the burger and they were both truly exceptional!! The steak just melted in my mouth and the accompaniments were perfect! The burger was scrumptious…complete with juices running down your fingers as you ate it, as every good burger should be! We didn’t have room for dessert but a delicious cappuccino was still in order! It truly is a magical place to be…wonderful atmosphere, attentive & friendly staff and always mouth watering food!!

I ordered the fetaccine Alfredo and my husband ordered the winter salad with blackened chicken. We were very pleased with our meals. Tasty, fresh, and filling. The staff were attentive. Even at night the view across the lake was stunning. We will be back again and again.

We had a very friendly waiter, take about services with a smile, he has done it above and beyond and is a joy to see. The ambience is there, right around the bar area and we can see the bartender focusing on making his concoctions with care and love. The food is excellent especially the apple tartan with the added touch of vanilla ice cream!

We just moved to the area and wanted to have a date night. Our first experience here was nothing but great. Service was great I believe our servers name was Tommy. Me and my girlfriend decided to try things we wouldn't normally order at a restaurant and we were NOT disappointed. Every bite was great! We tried some of their wines as well which were also very nice. We will definitely be back and highly recommend

Excellent seasonal special night out. Quality menu and ambiance/decor. The Pan Seared Scallops were perfection and the Prime Rib a good portion and medium rare. Enjoyed the “Harvest” seasonal gin cocktail and the Pistachio Cheesecake was neither too sweet nor heavy.

Always a pleasure at the Lookout. Their winter menu items are simply fantastic. The soup is an excellent starter and the scallop risotto did not disappoint. Our server Morgan was kind, attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend.

This was our 4th year at Tiara for Christmas brunch. The food choices are limitless & everything was delicious. Lots of choices & so many gluten free desserts! Excellent service. Will go again next year.

About the restaurant
Uli's Restaurant is a White Rock institution. Opened in 1986 by Uli Blume, it was one of White Rock's original waterfront restaurants and quickly became a favourite among locals for its great food and friendly atmosphere. Uli's son Tyson took over operations in 2008 and he picked up right where his father left off – providing the White Rock waterfront with a fun and relaxed place to enjoy a vibrant atmosphere, stunning water views, refreshingly simple food, an extensive international beer list, and a diverse selection of wines. Chef Jennie Silk is also making quite an impression on locals as they flock for her impeccable local flavours on the menu.

As usual, the service was very good. The fried chicken I ordered was good, although the gravy needed more seasoning. The grilled Caesar salad was delicious, unfortunately the $18 price tag for the portion size was disappointing. Uli's is my favorite restaurant in White Rock, and I will come back again and again.

Whether it is a night out with friends, an intimate dinner for two, or just something extraordinary, We are not afraid to take the familiar and turn it into something memorable. If it tastes good, we will put it on a plate, in a glass, or whatever. Our mantra is as simple as eat, drink, and enjoy!

Amazing view and beautiful restaurant. Service was attentive and knowledgeable. Wish they had a tenderloin instead of a strip loin on the menu but otherwise food was good.
