About the restaurant

Established in the heart of Palm Springs at the foot of the San Jacinto Mountains, Le Vallauris has been one of the highest rated restaurants in the Coachella Valley since its inception in 1973. The exquisite cuisine at Le Vallauris is prepared by Executive Chef, Gabriel Morales, Award winning Angeleno Chef who has replaced the long time Chef Jean Paul Laire as he retired in 2024. The Historic Landmark was built in 1927 as a home for the Roberson family, who managed Palm Springs' first hotel, The Desert Inn. Many grand parties were held in the house for guests such as Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong and many more. Later on, when the restaurant was established it became a favourite place for Presidents and the Hollywood elite, and local socialites.

What a pretty setting and lovely experience. Our waiter Amin was attentive, friendly and provided great service. Food was delicious and it was hard to decide what to order, but we loved our choices. Highly recommend

Thus far, Spencer's has not disappointed, and I can't imagine they ever will. We arrived a little early and the front staff greeted us with amazing smiles, clearly indicating the type of service and warmth we were going to receive. Our waitress made great recommendations, she was prompt, and as busy as she was throughout the night, she was very attentive to our table. I don't have the words to describe the food because it's an experience unlike any other. The calamari appetizer had a perfect crispy tenderness with a new fusion flavor. Their soup of the day was creamy, smooth and delightful. Our seafood main courses, each hot andcooked to perfection, and in each bite, one can taste every ingredient used. It was an overall well balanced delight. I cannot stress enough how welcomed everyone made us feel. Thank you to everyone at Spencer's, from those who greeted us walking in, to everyone in the kitchen who made delivered a masterpiece of food and service.

Excellent!! Have been eating here for the last 30 years! Since back when it was Lakewood. Incredibly well done and executed. The salads are always awesome---we always split a salad and the flavors are exquisite and it is more than enough for two hungry people. The entree's are to kill for---steaks are dynamite, the chicken dishes moist and flavorful-tonites was half a rotisserie chicken with beautiful mashed potatoes and veg---great for a cold winter nite. Love the scallops and the salmon---and an incredible bacon burger with wonderful crispy fries. For beer lovers, do not miss the Even Par IPA--yumm! Nice wine list. but the real gem are the waitstaff--especially Elena--love her! Friendly, personable, and a true professional! The food is reasonably priced and a good value. Love this place! Will be back in February!

When in town the Daily Grill is our choice for very good food and atmosphere. For my husband and I,that don’t eat very much, we prefer the happy hour offerings. If you like chicken pot pie, don’t hesitate, it’s delicious.
